21 March, sunny
Today I noticed that the whole row of trees along the road had turned green. Last week they looked bare; I have no idea which night it happened.
Spring does not arrive on one particular day; it arrives day by day — a little more green, a little more warmth, an inch more light. By the time you can see it, it has been going for a long while.
Everything is quietly growing, and so are you. The effort that “shows no results yet” is probably accumulating somewhere you cannot see, simply not yet at the point of budding.
Not visible does not mean not growing. Before the flower opens, the root keeps going down.
Don’t rush to prove anything. Grow quietly first.
