2 April, cloudy
Every plan for today fell apart: the morning’s task slipped, the midday notice changed at short notice, and tonight’s intention never happened.
Once I would have been irritated all day. Today I tried something else — accept the change first, then pick out what was still possible and do two of those things. The plan didn’t hold; the direction did.
A plan’s value is not precision. It is that it leaves you a direction when things change.
Plans rarely keep up with change — but whoever has no plan cannot keep up with change either.
Two things done today. It counts.
